-Next Wave gets Green Board on USNS Yano in One Day for MSC - December 12th, 2006–
NWS employees Bill Crady, Mark Koi and Lucas Johnson supported the USNS Yano installation with government support from Bob Stultz. The installation team worked closely with General Dynamics and successfully groomed the USNS Yano Security System for Operation Test Procedure (OTP) readiness in one day. This was a first of a kind for the SSM installation team.

-Awarded Two Million Dollar DOE Wireless Technology Contract – September 28th, 2006–
Next Wave Systems has been awarded a contract to install a wireless communications backbone to enhance security operations. The technology will leverage using the Motorola Mesh Network topology and the design effort will complete within one year of start date.
