ROSETTA PHONE SHOWCASED AT VACCINE KICK-OFF

On 9 November 2009 Next Wave participated in Purdue University’s kick-off for its new Visual Analytics for Command, Control, and Interoperability Environments (VACCINE). VACCINE is a U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Center of Excellence led by Purdue’s Dr. David Ebert. In attendance at this event were Dr. Cordova, President of Purdue University; U. S. Congressmen Stephen Buyer and Mark Souder; DHS Directors Dr. Starnes Walker and Dr. Matthew Clark; DHS Chief Science Advisor Dr. Joseph Kielman; Dr. John Stasko from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Dr. Fred Roberts from Rutgers University. During the Program Next Wave’s DARPA-funded collaborative Research and Development effort with Purdue, Rosetta Phone was showcased.
